Costa Spring Hatchery was originally an environment agency site in the 1940's. It is located in the most northerly chalk stream in the United Kingdom leaving us with a constant temperature of 10 degrees celsius. This means that we are able to grow fish all year around.

Since taking on the farms early 2019 we have invested greatly in the stock and running of the farm. We have successfully predator proofed both farms to help protect the stock and to ensure we produce the finest quality.

The water in one of the hatcheries at Costa is recirculated through a filtration system and warmed through a heat exchange pump thus allowing us to pick up temperature and speedy up growth.

Costa Springs is disease free.

RSPCA accredited, Quality Trout UK and Global Gap.

Costa Springs and Sinnington are predominantly restocking sites of brown trout, rainbow trout and fingerlings for intatrade.
